Another take on my last image, this time with oil.
Only problem was the oil spread out, unlike water that stayed in a dome!
So working within that, I kept a tiny bit of water in the eye dropper. End result...the little bits of bubbles!!

Same set up as before, table, window light...and my POV on subject LOl

Such an interesting composition in Macro Tracey, thanks for the idea about using CD it creates a lots of vibrant colors that even our naked eyes can't see. Nice work and my compliments.

tfs....Buddy

That's awesome Tracey, here I was thinking that the water droplets were a good idea, who knew you'd take it to the next level and use oil! Lol. The tiny bubbles look great, makes me wonder what effect this would have on a blue-backed disc. It's meant to be a rainy day here in Auckland today so I might have to give this a crack with one of my old discs. The colours in this one resemble that of a sunrise, the dark BG works really well too. Another impressive experiment.

TFS,
Scott.

Hi Tracey,
I like your previous CD shot, but I like the simplicity of this one.
Reminds me of laboratory culture dish...penicillan maybe ;)
Nice experiment, well done.
Pete.

This is cool too Tracey - I slightly prefer your previous shot with the smaller droplets, but this certainly catches the eye.

Don't know if I'd have opted to keep the 'pollutants' (a little black speck, and a fibre of clothing?) in the shot.

Great experiment though with an awesome result.
