[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The rose hip is a versatile fruit containing the vitamins C, D and E, essential fatty acids and antioxidants. In powder form it may be of value in treating rheamatoid arthristis.

Nostradamus used rose hips amongst other ingredients to make ‘rose pills’ that he fed to his sick patients during the black plague.

Nowadays it is more commonly used as a herbal tea, in jam, jelly, syrup, pies, bread and marmalade.

As an alternative idea I have posted a workshop in which I converted my original photo into an oil painting. Please check it out.

The light is superb, Martyn. The composition and the background is serene and well composed.
The is a bit out of focus, but the rest makes up for that entirely.
Cheers

Hi Martyn,
Great shot, I can honestly say that I have never eaten these before (knowingly at least). Great presentation with the cinematic border. The sparkle from the sun looks awesome, the blue BG really brings out the details too. Nice one.

TFS,
Scott.
