[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Spring and sprung upon us in New Zealand and many people are relieved Winter is officially over.

I took this photo a few years ago during a visit to the Botanic Gardens in the 'Garden City', i.e. Christchurch, South Island.

The ducklings seemed to be in a hurry though they didn't seem to know where they wanted to be as they kept changing directions. The yellow duckling liked leading the brood across flowing waters of the River Avon though their mother was always close by, keeping a watchful eye on her brood of youngsters.

Hi Martyn,
Adoring picture, well taken, perfect sharp and well composed. The bolt frame is a bit over the top in my opinion, nevertheless a nice picture!

Hello Martyn, it is good that all the ducklings are swimming in the same direction.I like the patterns in the water that they have created,it adds dynamics to the shot.

Great capture of the ducklings. So sharp, especially given the relatively slow shutter.

Personally - really don't like the big frame and title, to me it seems very dated ... early '90s posters ... but that's just my view on it.

such a lovely shot.. the ducklings look so cute and pretty sharp creating those patterns and ripples on the water, the colors seem to blend naturally and the black frame is a great choice here... beautiful composition...
