I took this image on August 29th at Waikuku beach. Seems simple enough, but on Monday 31st August my laptop crashed, along with the photos that I had not yet backed up!! There were a few, but my favorites were uploaded online, although in smaller versions!! But still there none the less.
So after 2 days and looking into a lot of SO called free recovery sites (the free download found my images, but I would have to pay to retreive them!) I got help from the TL forum!!!
Here finally is one of the images I got back, was it worth the effort and time? Only you can tell me :)
But I like it...so that counts in my book :P

This is a nice capture Tracey, I like the low placement of the horizon line and those distinctive rolled-up norwest clouds over the Southern Alps. The reflections of light on water are beautifully captured.
If you hadn't mentioned HDR, I wouldn't have known - it's flawless.

Bad news about the crash!! I made sure I backed up all my photos this week!!
I love the so many different layers in this image. Sky, clouds, distant hills, trees, swamp, different coloured waters... Well seen and captured. Really good to see
