A window in Nelson
 |

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Did you know that Trafalgar Square was in New Zealand?? I didn't...... I found this beautiful window in a Cathederal in Trafalgar Square (Nelson, New Zealand). This is probably the only cathederal in the world that does not have a steeple. It was removed for safety reasons, believe it or not. New Zealand is known for its volcanic and seismic activity, so it was removed incase it toppled.
Upon entering the cathederal, I was overcome with emotion due to recent events, and I don't mind saying I shed a tear or two; a moment that will stay with me for a while.
I took this photo without a tripod, but was relieved to see the result.
Hope you enjoy. |

Hi Barry, good to see you back. And even without a tripod you've got a good one here. The windows are beautiful, I love the pictures they represent, and the colours and sharpness are just about perfect.
I've been to Nelson a few times, but don't hinik I've visited the cathedral. Good job, thank you,
Janice
