Ok, when you said you were doing a tour of this region I expected good things - but this blows me away!

Fantastic shot. This belongs on a postcard or in a tourist brochure. Rich colours, sharp details, and perfect composition ... you've done an amazing job here.

Nice use of the log to add depth and perspective to the scene, it lifts the image from just being another beach shot - good touch!

Hello Tim!

Living in New Zealand , you are blessed with admirable natural landscapes. Your beach scenes are truly remarkably captured. This one is no exception with this huge log, the cloudy sky, high contrasts and strong colors. Perfect composition using all the lements at their best for a postcard shot. I guess here you also used a polarizer filter .
