[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The beaches around Nelson, South Island, are very beautiful and very popular throughout the year.

Sea kyaking is one of the many sports tourists and locals enjoy in this region. The waters are clear and there are plenty of safe beaches and coves to enjoy.

It was a scorching day when I took this photo, the sand was burning hot ans the sea very inviting. The bottom of the North Island may be seen in the distance, across the Cook Strait. TFR.

You manages beautiful deep colours on this hot day and the composition and strong and beautiful (and looks very inviting!).

I particularly like the framing, it gives the shot an air of chalk painting.
The compo is charming, too, as colours, and the position of the main subject - the kayak - is very well thaught.
