[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
We are back from our South Island safari. I managed to get some stunning scenery, but this image taken in the historic street in Oamaru appeals to me.
It was taken two days ago at 7am, just before we had rain, the overcast gave this soft light.

Good morning my friend,
welcome back, I hope you have a good time.
This image is very nice with great compositon and light. Excellent done!

Greetings

Igor

great compo! :) great lighting :) well detailed! like it :) tfs

Beautiful light, beautiful compostion, beautiful idea. When I saw the thumbnail, I knew this would be a winner.

However, I think this needs to go to black and white or sepia. The blue manhole cover gets too much visual weight when really I want to look at the awesome light effects on the bench. The the wall highlights behind it.

Well seen,
Josh

Hi Pete
Glad you had a great time.
Nice moody shot, great light.
I suppose you were looking for somewhere to rest your weary bones.
All the best
Gil

I can see why the shot appeals to you. Simple subject but with nice details, well composed and nicely lit.

Hi Peter,
Great photo, nice composition and tones, lovely mood. Congratulations.
Best Regards. -bazsa

Lovely light Pete. Well composed, good softer colour and fine detail. I knew some Kiwis back in Western Australia who originated from that part of the south. TFS,
Dave
