[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
On our South Island trip we called in to Omarama to see the gliders, one of my other passions.
Murphy's Law...it was blowing a gale.
so we went to the Marino Cafe for lunch. They sell these beautiful porcelain dolls by the famous Dunedin artist Jan McLean.
This doll was behind glass, so I had no control over the background, so decided on the vignette to solve the problem.

Jan McLean - I guessed it was one of her dolls - aren't they amazing? And even a man should be able to see how beautiful and well made they are. Did you buy Marilyn one? I'd love one here - or even two.
She is a brilliant artist and doll maker.
