But jeez ... is that all gorse along the banks? Shame, shame if it is - so sad to see the evil invader so prevalent.

An amazing view though, and beautifully captured - very nice rule-of-thirds composition, excellent depth of field.

Hello Martyn.
Good looking photo from this landscape.
Yesterday, seen hundreds of pictures from NZ, as my sister in law, just returned from 5 weeks there. their son is living upposite the baai of Wellington, at Eastburne.
Think have to go there also ones.

A lovely landscape remimnding me of a very similar photo that I took of the old bridge where the Sishen-Saldanha train line crosses the main higway to Namibia in Namakwaland. The nly difference is that my photo is from a much more arid area. I love the composition here with the nice green landscape and the wonderful reflection of the sky in the water.

Truely a beautiful South Island scene Martyn, been meaning to stop and look In at your pics for a while.. but I cant keep up the critquing at times..lovely composition, well done.
