| I went for a wander up at Bishops Bay near Wanaka yesterday while my friend who is a marraige celebrant conducted a weding ceremony at a lodge nearby. It was soooo.... peaceful I could have stayed all day. Saw this dead willow tree and thought it worthy of some attention. Have desaturated and sharpened. Hope you like. |

Well spotted. I like the composition and B&W tones. Maybe next time you can use less jpg compression as this gives a drop in image quality. For TL you only need to go as far as 200kB.

Great shot! Very peaceful atmosphere and great lighting. The tree does not interfere with the background. I recommend that when sharpenning it, you do not sharpen the sky because it has created noise and the sky does not need sharpening anyway. Well done.
Hi Ali,
nice shot, i can def feel the peacefulness. Great choice of B&W even if it would be nice to see this picture in colour too. am sure it must be beautiful!
