[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hey folks

Back from vacation I have some (hopefully) nice shots to offer.
I will start with this one here. Actually it is a HDR-processed picture made out of 5 frames (exposure ranges from -2 to +2).
After tonemapping a warm/cold filter and sharpening.
Done

I think Moeraki Boulders are absolutly stunning.
No more words to say here..

c'est super beau bravo ! mais c'est un roche naturel ?

Hi Gunnar,
This is a lovely shot, good DOF. This boulder is so beautiful, has the sea created the effects on it or are they manmade?
Beautiful colours.

Hello Gunnar

Interesting image to say the least. The POV and hdr work make the image work well. TFS
p.s. how many of these boulders can you find in this area, and how are they formed?

Regards
Jimmy

Hi Gunnar,
Fantastic shot! I have never seen these in real life, but it looks like an excellent place for HDRs. The tone mapping process seems to have really brought out the colours and textures in both the rock and golden sand.

Good shallow DOF from f/4, the horizon looks nice and straight too. Well composed - sort of reminds me of the volleyball from the movie called Castaway, lol.

TFS,
Scott.
