Winter in Wanaka
So strange to me (livin on the northern hemisphere) experiencing winter in July! But looking at those wonderful mountains with heaps of snow I realize it was really winter in Wanaka. (Ok, all those freaky snowboard-guys did the rest)
This shot was taken wat the lake (although it cannot be seen here) with a circ pol filter to strengthen the blue sky and the clouds.
I fooled around with saturation an exposure seetings so I got this image, finally.

Hi Gunnar,
This is a wonderful photo of this great landscape! The foggy scarf on the mountains add a mystic mood at the majesty of this scene. A dream for me to contemplate this impressive and dramatic view, one day ! Excellent use of your filter giving a beautiful diffuse light. Bravo! Annie

Nicely captured Gunnar. Lovely layers of muted colour and excellent detail in the cloud covered peaks,

Hi Gunnar
That's it... I'm moving from the UK to NZ..! Such fantastic mountain scenery, no wonder they filmed Lord of the Rings there.
This image is brilliant - the sky superb.
