[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Heading for Queenstown after a short visit in Moeraki (see Moeraki boulders).
A few km to Alexandra we are passing the Dunstan Mountains and are (once again) overwhelmed by the sheer beauty of nature.
Although it is common to do landscapes in landscape I decided to have another format here. Just to underline the beauty and 'infinity' of the sky in comparison to the mountains (that are 1500+m high, too).

Tech talk
Increasing tonal contrast to emphasize the polarizer-effect. Slight enhancement of saturation, sharpening, done

So these are the Dunstan ranges - they are attractive, aren't they?
Very well captured Gunnar, and I especially love the sky - awesome cloud formations and colours too.
And the composition of the scene it well done too,

Hi Gunnar
I love shots of good skies and this is up there with the best.
I'd be tempted to crop a little more from the foreground - but that's just my taste.
It's a fantastic shot.
