Good action shot lacking attention on the face up close I would have cropped it tighter. Those ares trong elements the lines of groomed snow are interesting but. Nice shot.

Hi Karey,
Great frozen action. I just whish you croped it more so that the focus is more on to the rider and this will also have solved the vignetting of the filter.

Niek

Actually I like the cropping the way it isş ıt puts it into context and shows just what a danger mouse you are getting yourself ın the path. Thats my girl. Taking your camera on the slopes...

Jeepers you are nearly up to 500 points

Nicely timed Capture Karey,
Good detail and sharpness. Colous and lighting are good. You've handled the exposure well.
TFS. Have a great week.

Wooah! I only just discovered this!
I think it's an awesome shot. Very strong diagonals thanks to your POV, the plough-lines in the snow are powerful too. The contrast of snow and sky is excellent.
Best of all though is the capture of action, the base-of-the-snowboard view of this jump.
Amazing that there is no motion-blur - with such a small aperture and a shutter-speed that should be too slow for high-speed action, your timing must have been simply perfect.
Excellent work!
