That's a few thousand tonnes of ice Anna, I bet it has fallen off by now. You have captured the stress cracks at the top.
Stunning lighting and beautiful contrast and detail.
Did you shoot through glass or open window?
Pete.

Hoi Es,
Yep with your nose pushed on the heli windshield taking fabulous pictures like this one. Excellent sharp, fine contrast and the blue tones look very natural. Great posting, I took a picture from the heli during our way up too. For some reason it happend that I see a blond head in the left lower corner of my snaps. As proof see my WS :-)
Keep them posting!
Hans

Excellent capture Anna, almost 3 dimensional, great natural shapes and lighting

Hi Anna

Superb aerial photo! The ice sheet looks very impressive, looks like it is about to dislodge. Tfs.

Best wishes,
Martyn

Hi Anna,
A great shot, we normally don't get to see these things. The lighting and contrasts are very good - the ultimate shot would have been to capture it breaking off
cheers
Jack

Wow! It does look like it is going to drop off soonish... I'd hate to be standing below it.
As Jack has said - we don't often get to see these things. So I've been thrilled to see the pictures you and Hans have posted down south.
Thank you for sharing
Janice
