Mt Cook is the highest mountain in New Zealand - 3735 m(12254 ft), and is located in Aoraki Mount Cook National Park on the South Island.
The picture was taken from Mount Cook Village - home to most tourists in this area.
Try to find a stone face in the top part of the peak - it's pretty scary. Or maybe it's just my sick imagination...
Mt Cook es la mas alta montana en Nueva Zelanda - 3735 m (12254 ft), situada en Aoraki Mount Cook Parque Nacional en la Isla del Sur. Saque esta fotografia de Mount Cook Village - la casa de casi todo turista en este region.
Prueben encontrar una cara en la superior parte de la montana - es un poco espantada. O esto es solo mi imaginacion enferma...

Maybe the sky has a bit of noise in it though..but well done on your composition...
Yes I too see the stone face, in the middle surrounded by snow.. is that the bit you mean ?..spooky eh..lol

This is a great image but I agree with Dawn. There needs to be more constrast in the sky. I made an atemp in photoshop and created a workshop. Let me know what you think.

Hi Henryk, welcome to TLens. Very good capture of Mt Cook / Aoraki. It is good seeing the snow blowing off the top. The colours looks rather unreal and it's a bit noisy, but the view is amazing. Yes, I can see the face, quite strange!
