Taken in May 2004 when we spent 2 weeks in the south island of New Zealand.
Treble Cone is one of the world famous ski resorts of New Zealand. The area was one of many that was used for the film "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy.
The shot has been sharpened a little but the colours are as seen. There are some pretty amazing scenes in New Zealand. |

Hi Robert,
It’s a very nice shot; I like the different colors of the hills & of course the cloud.

Sublime landscape! I like the perspective as well as the colors. The scenery is like the "Lord of the Rings", amazing view, majestic mountains and beautiful waters. Well done!
Hi Robert,
I was in the North of the South Island for 2 weeks in August of 2004. You are correct, there is some superb scenery there and the colours are such as you have depicted them here. Excellent POV and just enough PP work. TFS,
David
Hello. Great nature shot. Lovely colours and prespective. Well done. :O)
Hi Robert
One thing you notice with NZ high country, take a photo of one scene and retake six months later and its a whole new scene.Ah well it is beautiful any time.
