| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
After three days Queenstown City we decided to have a half-day walk up to Mt. Ben Lomond.
Following the 1 mile creek we soon leave the 'ordinary' 1h walkers behind us and start to enter pure nature.
After a good 2-3h walk we finally reach Ben Lomond saddle; our highest point on this walk (without any equipment for alpine climbing we cancelled the last track to the summit).
This shot was taken on the way up. Hard to believe there is a buzzing city beneath us.
Tomorrow I will show you the awesome view from the saddle...
Tech talk
Created a pseudo HDR to put a nice saturation to the lake as well as to the illuminated mountains.
Sharpening. Done

Spectacular view! Excellent PP treatment to deliver a balanced, professional shot.
I've been to Queenstown but only as a child, so I don't remember any of these views. I really should go, it's only a few hours drive from my hometown!
