Ben Lomond Saddle

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
As mentioned yesterday I'd like to show you the view from Ben Lomond saddle.
Located near Queenstwon Ben Lomond is one of the mountains that can be climbed in 3-4h in summer. In winter (as seen here) it might take longer because of the need of alpine equipment.

This is a hdr combined out of three different exposures (-2/0/+2).

very nice and interesting result of the HDR process, good tone mapping, nice mountains with good clarity, I didn't expect such a PP before to read the note, just a bit wondering how you got such a result, this is an evidence that HDR could be used smartly which is not often the case

A beautiful composition here Gunnar, what a majestic view..one you could sit and look at for ages.. you sure had a good look around down south didnt you.. How long were you in NZ for ?..it sure looks mighty cold down there.
Thanks for sharing
and have a great day
Dawn.
Hi Gunnar
Stunning landscape. Interesting how the more distant parts of the scene look so blue. Very well suited to the panoramic-style crop. Beautiful.
Cheers.

Hi Gunnar
A great panoramic view of the cold mountains. The blue colours gives the image an even colder feel.
