Hi Dawn

I like the ambient yellow light from the late afternoon sun. The horse is a superb addition & animates the shot. Good sharpness too. Tfs!

Very beautiful light you've captured here.
I don't know if the composition is by the book but I think it works great. There are lots of shapes in your composition with all the lines that cross eachother.
The colours are great and I really like the earth coloured tones.

very good picture with beautiful sunset colours. I like it alot. The horse seem a little small to me, maybe a bit closer would keep the nice background but give the horse more importance.

The light is what makes this, Dawn -- you have captured the morning light beautifully.
As to the composition: I think I'd have been inclined to put more space in front of the horse, but then -- maybe you did not have the time. The light is definitely the thing here

Nice work on the light, Dawn. I love that golden glow. Though I think this is a beauty, its beauty is surpassed by the workshop image. Maybe because the horse doesn't get to play the leading part in this compo...

So that is the term - tweaking - I'll remember.
Well the outcome is a most pleasing golden light - love the shadow and sunlight on the mountain and again an interesting sky.
You must have loved being there.
The horse WS does not have a BG as lovely as this one and in the WS it is the landscape and not the horse that is bathing in the evening sun - so good choise for your upload.

Hello Dawn, I just happen to see this lovely picture.
There is lots of thing to look at here, the moss on the fence, the horse and the blanket, the layers of fence and the mountain in the bg.

Love the light and the "crusty" fence! I hope the horse has as good a view in the direction he is looking! Such a wonderful landscape! How many more exclamation marks can I get away with?!
