[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
There was a heavy bank of cloud with a big gap on the horizon - I knew when the light came through it would be intense but I didn't anticipate this!
I had guests staying and had no intention of picking up my camera - it got the better of me and I had to excuse myself for five minutes!!

The structure in the left foreground is a whitebait stand. Although the season is only three months we had to put up with these horrible things hanging in the air all year round (oh for a change of rules)! One day when I get clever and learn how to use Photoshop properly I'll be able to remove them from my pictures!

beautiful warm light and a perfect mirror
regards
jo

Lovely shot. The light is fantastic and gives plenty of atmospheric sense to the shot. Lovely framing and brilliant reflections as well as good depth. Regards, TW

Hi Neroli,
What a stunning scene, sometimes you just have to do what you have to do;-) I'm sure your guests would have understood.
Personally I don't have too big a problem with the whitebait stands, they are part of the country, and I do love white bait fritters.
I have done a quick workshop for you, it does improve the scene.
I noticed you had saved the image at only 56k, I brought that up to 180k or thereabouts.
My memory only seems to last a few seconds nowdays.
Cheers,
Pete.

WOW great capture
nice light and colours

Awsome capture Neroli... a picture postcard image. Lovely vibrant colours and great reflection.

Regards Mark :)

WOW...
The water is sooo calm... in fact the whole image has a relaxing influence on me, in spite of the whitetait...

Super!
Cheers,
Anneke

You may not be clever with Photoshop as yet Neroli, but you are very clever with your camera - wonderful panarama with beautiful colors and reflection. Yep, good stuff here.
