This was taken on Lake Matheson in the West Coast. The mountains on the horizon is part of the Southern Alps.
We got there midday, but the sun was behind some dark clouds. It was a windy day but a brief lull presented an opportunity for this shot as the lake became still.

This is a great picture, nice foreground and reflection.

Love the reflection of the Alps and the various layers leading to the clouds, maybe a little OE on the snow but no big deal. Nice deep colours.
