[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This picture was taken on our way from Queenstown to Wanaka via Crowne Range. It was a trip like everywhere else in New Zealand... when you are arriving somewhere, there are a lot of people and tourists, but on your way, there is nobody. You feel like the king of street. Just drive along (which is very relaxing, because you are not allowed to drive more than 100 km/h) and enjoy the landscapes.

I took this picture while we were driving through the windscreen. I know, the sky has a little shadow of the window, but I didn't want to fix it by a program.

Hope you like it. Comments and more are welcome!

I know what you are saying Sabrina, the roads are so bare, nobody around, as in your photo, specially in the South Island, in the country, then you get to Wanaka or Queenstown, and its full of people.. maybe they travel in the night.. ha ha.
Nicely composed for photo through the windowscreen..but not sharp enough due to this maybe..and because of the movement of the car... but thanks for sharing this typical country scene..on the Crown Range..Great views from up there!

Regards
Dawn.

Yeah, it's a pity you hadn't stop the car for this photo! :)
I'll be honest, I've stopped the car in every 5 minutes to take shots :))) I loved so much that there was nobody on the roads!! :) Anyways, it's a nice shot and bringig up some great memories!
cheers
ToM

ps: I got a photo posted in my gallery from around Queenstown that might be a familiar view for you (Lake Wakatipu)!

Nice shot has been taken from an interesting point of view. Although it has some blur, but scenary is excellent, well framed and taken with good aesthetic sense.

Thanks for sharing it.
