[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this picture during a boat-trip on Milford Sound. It was a very nice day and the sun came out as we arrived at Milford Sound. For me it was the first time to see this little friend as close as this. They were just sleeping and relaxing and soak up the sun.

Comments and more are welcome!

Life looks so tough!! I like the shot of the seals I think it portrays their natural tendency to laze around in the sun. However I wonder if a tighter crop at the top (cutting out some of the trees) would emphasise the diagonal line of the rock and the seals putting the focus more on them. I noticed the crop I mentioned as I scrolled the page up on my computer and the top part was blocked out just leaving a small slither of trees.

Hello Sabrina! Yes they are many of them around the shores having suntan and doing nothing all day! :))) I just wonder how could they climp up to that big rock!?? They must have came with the high tide!! :))))
cheers

Hello again!

Nice bunch of beach combers! They had to wait high tide to climb up there ?
Sabrina, here I think we are just missing an important element. We just have here a small corner of the sea. A portrait or vertical shot, for instance on the left side, shooting a bit further down, including the sea , with a thinner tree portion would have I think made it a bit more complete.

You opted to take as many seals as possible obviously, but I believe a tighter crop would have been better in this case.

Kepp on shooting.
Robert

A beautiful capture of the nature, just like NatGeo. Good details are taken in good light controls. Point of view is exciting. Wonderful shot Sabrina.

Thanks for sharing beauties of the nature.
