A great reminder of how far we've come, particularly in the last 5 years, with the huge spread of digital camera technology. No longer is serious photography strictly for those who could afford it or were driven by the artistic urge. I think the pioneers of photography would be delighted at the way our world is documented now.
Sharp, well arranged and shot.

What a little cutie you were Dawn. And still are! And I can recognise you in the photo. Good arrangement with all the old photos out and displayed like this. Back then photos were taken for special occasions, but now. . .?
Well done,
Janice

Hi Dawn,

Very imaginative composition! I remember the photo of your Great Grand Father. Different photos from different times. I also like the layout & not to mention that cute little girl on the bottom right (*_-)

Very well done

Very nice collection of old family shots Dawn. You looks so cute, and I can see a resemblence from your Great Great Grandfather.

Hi Dawn,
This is nice. A nostalgic moment. I posted something very similar many months ago titled "Memories". Check it out when you have the time.

Bonjour Dawn!

This is a superb idea! Indeed a great collection of precious memories. It was not a big challenge to find you (*_^). You did not change much (^_^) honestly.

Indeed, it was an event to be photographed before. Now it is part of our daily lives. And it is good that way!

Keep on the great work!
Cheers!
Robert

Hello Dawn.
Great all in one picture, very nice done.

Hi Dawn,

Well composed both the old photos and the shot. Good colour and detail. My sister and a cousin of ours have been sending me photos of our forebears, some I have never seen before, Memories are precious. TFS,
David

The good old days -- what a lovely idea for a posting. well-composed, surprisingly good focus for the angle at which you're shooting
