ang galing sir!
misty morning effect. no need for studio lights. =) she endured the frost just to pose.
Hi Rew...dedication alright. I prefer the alternative pose possibly because of the exposure if you get my drift. All three in this series thus far have been most enjoyable. Frost and fog are well worth the frozen bits. TFS,
David

rew,
she is realy freezing in here, you can see from her skin.
no kiddin aside, this is a great series of picture, the natural lighting are superb, the composition are well done but a little too deep on the DOF which i feel a little bit distracting on her eye. great work my friend.

Pareng Rew, this one's perfect! Mist is still evident in the background! The eye contact is mesmerizing! Exposure is even throughout. The sharpness is spot on.
I love it! Galing!!!

I love the crisp clarity of the frosty grass here - as well, of course, as the beautiful model!
Beautiful, brave and dedicated, I'd add! Forgive me for asking, is Diana your wife?

All for the sake of art! Excellent composition. I especially love the frosted grass and her expressions.

Hi Rew,
I like Diana's expression (in the other version, too, she seems happier) and your composition. Frost and mist make a splendid frame for her beauty.
Mary
Hi Rew,
Sorry for both of you to freezing to have this series, as I can see in her arm skin. But I really like this one. I think most from the series so far. Especially the light that fell on her hair.

If Rew does this to his models whom he presumably likes, what the heck would he do to someone he didnt like?? The photos are all teriffic but gee you better not be standing there in ugh boots.

this is cool, but looks so cold.
excellent portrait, rew! :-)
yeah, diana seems to be very dedicated in getting a great shot,
who else would lie down on the freezing ground.
excellent low pov on grass and eye-level showing us a pretty
look from your beautiful diana.
thanks & best wishes, thor.

Rew....
She has got The Look!!!
Greetings,
Pablo -
This is a stunning portrait. The look in the eye, he highlights catching the hair, the feminine shape revealed but not overdone, the dramatic DoF effects on the grass. You are getting better at this and I don't think it will be long before you should consider quitting your day job.

Phew, dedication, well done. I actually think that I prefer the other pose too. It just seems to be a little better on the interest side, don't know why? Perhaps it is her smile and looking away, it just seems like a more natural moment, if you can have such a thing in these conditions ;-)

Dear Rew,
I liked the way of your capturing her glance in your photo.
Depth of Feeling is nice.
Thank you for sharing with us.

rew,
i'd say so far the best in the series. though i am a bit partial to the ws version because it is more expressive. well done.

Its pleasing Rew, you know why? Okay because of her eye and the posed, you have captured it right on time. Plus the edge light that help to form herself. I do like rim lights or edge light because it creates power and imposing image quality. You could observed the step by step graduation of lights from hard to soft and vice versa, good control Rew.
Congratulations and cheers always.
Thanks/Salamat,
Jeffrey
dedication from model and photographer. Well done. This is a great shot. I also like the backlight on her hair. Well composed
i like the low POV composition rew :)
not east to do, it givs the viewer an interesting perspective
love the mist in the background
very nice work :)
i like the workshop version as well, very strong
200 % on dedication. she is lying almost naked on that grass at freezing temperature.
best one. I love the DOF and POV.
congrats,
Shahid

Hello Rew: try this again as the Finlanders do: take a sauna first. The cold then feels nice, at least for a while!

I think this one is my favourite so far of your misty-morning pictures. I love it how you've captured the frost on the leaves and fog around Diana. I guess the morning is getting near as you can see the first sunlight on her. Beautiful shot, thanks for posting.
all the portrait shots in your gallery are magnificent! this particular one is the best one for me. you are no amateur, you are a pro!
your models are pretty, too! are they pinays?
benedict
hi rew,
you told me she can't "stand" on the frozen grass...now she's lying! :O
i have to congratulate both of you for executing the shoots nicely. her pose is natural, well captured of the catchlight and the pov is good. a bit overexposed on her shoulders but this is very minor. tfs tito.

Very expressive and moody shot. Natural light works well here. I like the low angle of capture. Good one.
Hi Rew,
very nice indeed, beautiful colors and composition. It is such a pitty, that I have to work still, I would take photos all day...
How did you convince her, to lay on the ground in frost...
Thanks for sharing,

very nice :)))
A beautiful one,
Seems so close and personal, I like the contrast between the frost and the warmness that the girl suggests /look, pose, skin, underwear/
great job!
I know and have seen you series on this woman dressed in white. They are all pretty, taken and composed with imagination. But of all those I like the Version I and Version III (this one). The overall composition of Version I is superb! I am not that good in English to explain it in writing. Version III is so "down to earth", no pun intended. Version III is sensual and earthy and the expression on the eyes of Diana is of longing despite that frost on the grass. A lot of work on all those and very well done! Joy and Diana are very pretty models. Tonga women are just like the Pilipina women in their beauty features.
Thank you for your comments on my photo on "Scottish Faire", I apreciate it.

Hi Rew,
She seems too sexy in her lingerie but, on the other hand she seems to weak, helpless and irremediable...
but beside this, she still loves who left her..
this is an interesting photo what reminds me an interesting story...
Thank you Rew,
Cihan Selcuk Eksi
Nice Rew. Great story in this picture. I love the contrast between the sharp hard cold grass and the warm soft skin. The near dead earth and the eyes so alive.
i like this image a lot
because it is really a point of view to very deep beauty of her
regurds

seductive look my friend. are you using a tripod here? Or you got steady hands?
Great detail on the grass.

Beautiful both your ws and the posted version. Great colors and details. She doesn't show the chill factor in her face but her goosebumps tell us differently..the poor girl. Great picture! TFS

This is my first critque. I looked through your site looking for the best person shot and this was it. The lighting is soft, the backlight only adds to the feeling. What I liked most was a good photo should have some emotion. This photo has a simple sensual feeling that comes through in the expression, clothng and hint of cleavage. The frost itself may not be overly important other then it clearly defines each blade of grass. It's a type of photo that I like a lot.
Hello Rew ,
Good work !
..lighting and compo are perfect.
..tone colors and focus also perfect.
..The expression is just great.
..Bravo!

I thought that looked like frost! What an excellent portrait. I love the framing and her pose here.
This is certainly one of the most excellent portraits i have ever seen, it has been shot excellently and the attitude is just great...
Hi Rew,
A fine potrait of a beautiful women. Light, colours and sharpness are perfect.
With compliments
Heinz
Rew,
For me, this picture is one of your best portraits, not because Diana is lying in the frost, but because it's so emotive and sensual...
Very well framed, great pose and look of the model, nice soft and subtle tones...
Terrific work! :)
Best,
Izabela
