[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Everyone need someone to stand by them when they are down, forks too you know. :P

Place two forks next to each other, have the back fork just gently touches the front fork... make it look like they both need each other support to held up to this position. The forks are sitting on top of a piece of white paper that go all the way up as the background.

So what do you think of this one? Is it all right?

-------------------------
- Only cropped out the white patch on the top
- Convert to black and white
- Adjust brightness and contrast
- Add border and words then resize.

Thank you all for your kind support again and again... :) And thank you for your visit and suggestion. Have a great weekend ahead.

That straight away remind me... when we were down, some of us do need to have another person stand by them all the way through out the whole situation, and so, here it is....

Very interesting photo, Puffy.
And the B&W makes it even more fascinating!
Regards, Evgenia

An excellent shot this, Sweety.

A great idea really well carried through. I agree that B+W works well here. I like these kind of studies of everyday objects, and this one gives the forks a character.

Good work!

Thank you.

Nigel

Another nice fork shot Sweety!

I can almost make out a self-portrait in the fork, too! The reflections within the steel are excellent, pictures within a picture and adding a whole new level to the image.

Really great work, inspiring, even!

Hi Sweety,

Never thought forks can be romantic nor have I ever imagined them to be such sincere friends. Not until you came out with these fork series that is. :D

As usual the simplicity of your composition makes it very dramatic. Sometimes simple formulas do work, and for this case it worked pretty well.

Best regards,

Allan

Yep! You've got me humming it now - Stand by me..... Just as well you can't hear me, Puff.
Another well composed and well set out creation my friend. And you just use white paper.
Good job
Janice

Hi Sweety,
You sure look like you are having a good time. Well presented. Effective and flawless. Best wishes. Danilo

Hi Sweety,

You are so right!! I've never thought of that... :))
Great B&W experimental once again!! Strong contrast and lighting with nice sharpness!!
Very well done!!!

Constantinos

Nice continuation to your series, showing that with imagination and creativity, two objects can render several different interesting images.

Hello Sweety,
First of all, your note is very good!
Than i liked the reflection of one of the forks is on the other fork!
And i think i can see your shadow on the forks too :)

Do you know what does your shadow reminds me?
Yes these two forks needs eachother's help, they support eachother but there must be another secret (maybe spiritual) power what makes them to help eachother.. your shadow symbolizes these. at first you make them standing and helping to eachother.. to continue or not to continue is thier preference...
as the story of Human being and God..

Thank you for these wonderful composition
Cihan Selcuk Eksi

ps: i think these forks are used. i can see the scrapes on them :)

this is my favorite of the series so far sweety :)
love the composition
the title is perfect for this photo :)
well done

The title makes me think of a song with that refrain, and now I can't get it out of my head.....
Nice work, good sentiment.
More forks - your series so far has inspired me to dig out my own 'fork sun-glasses' for Halloween.
Cheers
Otto

Hi Sweety,
Your fork serie is stunning. This one I like the most (till now) it is a very sharp clear picture with great contrast. The shining tin the forks is brilliant. Framing is excellent. So your reward is more than earend! Job well done my dear Sweety! TFS.
