[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Gannet Colony at Muriwai, on the west coast, gets the rough incoming weather and can look very spectacular. The birds don't seem to mind the battering, although their calls can be heard way above the strong winds.

Hi Pat,
The Gannet colony at Muriwai is quite a amazing view looking from the top, especially seeing some of them flying through the gusty winds.
good composition of the whole view!
cheers
Tony

Bonjour Patricia,
very, very nice colored image! Magnificent. Normaly, I don't like frames, but yours is the best I've seen. You post your photo at 81kb, as you can go until 200kb. That improves the edition. When you save the photo at 800 pixels, work on the slider in the bottom of the same screen. Congratulations!

Beautiful shot, Patricia! I like the colors and dof, pov. Nice framing, too, btw. Well-placed horizon.

hi
sharpness isn't very good.
thanks

I love coastal shots, the colour of the sea is always different. Good composition and I love the frame.
Pete.

Great shot Pat, well composed, and the polarizer is working well. I like this way of framing your picture here too.
It's such a great place to visit. And it looks like it is beginning to fill up fast. Were there any babies yet? Too soon maybe.

Just love the colors. Do you guys in New Zealand have a cold or warm Christmas?

Hi Patricia,
Very beautiful photo with lovely colors.

i like the creative idea to frame the photo as "3D object". nice composition, correct exposure, right timing to have this capture. feel relaxing to look at it.

Hi Patricia. I love the sea unfortunately now I live in Tasmania I am 80km away from it. A lovely image with excellent colour, good detail and an excellent POV. Nicely framed and presented. TFS
