Nice! Well composed with excellent sharpness and detail. If not for the colour of the twig fragments it would almost look black-and-white.
An inspiring shot - thank you for sharing it

Odd it is, Dawn! The large one appears to have almost disappeared now. I love the angles and the tight crop. And I too get strange looks when I point my camera in unusual directions. Mostly I don't notice that though -- I am much too busy trying to record what I see in my mind's eye.

It's great that you find these ODD things on the beach. I like the different textures of the sand and the tyre. Well spotted and a good composition.

Hi Dawn!
Excelent capture of this detail. It almost looks B&W but it isn't, A fina composition, something completely different from you. Very brave but good!

Hi Dawn,
What a beautiful B&W! The range of tones is so realistic. You captured the beautiful light and all textures of sand and rubber. Your composition with repetitive curves is very efficient. Very well done! Annie

Hello Dawn,
Maybe it is a "tyrum fossilus" ? (fossil of tyres)... :))
Great compo and details. Well done.
Best regards
Pascal
Hi Dawn,
Pardon the pun...but I for one appreciate your oddity. This is a very creative image using everyday things because you have found the beauty in the curve and textures of the tyre and its contrast with the sand. Hurray for being odd.
Best wishes,
Celina

Hi Dawn!
I like this one alot Dawn. Composition is super, as is the texture you captured. There's alot to look at here, one of those photos I could stare at and study for too long:) The oddest things make for most interesting photos I think. I love how the bottom tire is about completely buried, just enough left showing to be visible but clear of what it is. Nicely seen and taken Dawn...excellant camera work. TFS! Lyndon
