Beautiful! Great idea with the poseit worked amazingly. She looks like she is actuall waiting for someone. Very cool pov. This tighter version is alot better than the ws. Nice framing too TFS

Hi Rew,

As with all your other portrait photos this is very well exposed. The light, detail and colours of Biancas face are perfect in my opinion. Composition is good and the photo is well balanced.
I she actually looking through the window? Seems as if she is looking at the vertical beam (is that the correct word?) or maybe even to the right of it.
I really like the mirror effect on the blinds and think you should have played that a bit more.
I think I would have tried to avoid the vertical window beam in the right by moving Biance more to the left of the window. That would allow you to capture more of the blinds for longer horizontal lines in the right side of the photo and more of that cool mirror effect that the blinds have.

Hi Rew. A wonderful model to work with. I like thee originality of this shot. Good presentation & series. Guess only way to improve would be to choose a longer horizontal section without the thick vertical element which is a touch heavy. TFS. Murray.

i'll tell you why i think this one is great :)

1- the framing

2- the absence of blown highlights, despite the fact that the light from outside the window is very strong...

3- the supertight focus on her face

4- the reflection of the shutters in her eyes :)

this is a splendid photo :) had she been looking at the camera, the impact would've been lost... :) great work :)

two points from treklens to you both, and 5/5 to both of you from me :)

I realy like this one, great use of light through window.
I don't like the blinds on right and would prob crop off workshop is worse.

Hi Rew, well I looked at all of them and found the wider shot the one I liked because of the elements of light and dark as well as the fuller figure of the model. btw, is she watching you plow the field? or watching for a black ops team? (Bourne Identity) ;) TFS.

Hey Rew, I think that the frame at the top and bottom edges definitely works in conveying a moment from a movie, because that was the first thing I thought of when I saw this shot (before I read the note). What makes this so stunning is not just the lighting itself, but also the reflections of the venetian blinds in Bianca's eyes. It makes the shot dynamic and dramatic, as if we are in suspense "Who or what is she looking at?!" Okay I get really into movies....
And what's also great about this is the clear crisp reflections of her fingers on the blinds. Excellent details, incredibly sharp, you can see all the textures of the skin and hair and the smooth shine of the eyes. Really wonderful composition and I just love the point of view you used here, you are at eye-level with Bianca, and close-up, you are seeing things from her perspective. I think this shows too that you are very comfortable with the model. Again, beautiful colors and tones, and even though the edge of her face is a little bit centered in the shot, I am glad you included hints of the venetian blinds at the right edge because that makes the scene and her location easier to identify. Okay it would have been ideal to not have to use the gradient at the top but it's hardly noticeable. I didn't notice it until I read about it in the note. Really wonderful shot, and rather different than your other portraits. Kudos to trying different things, it looks great!

Hi Rew,
Again an attractive portrait of Bianca! Excellent sharp and perfect (skin) tones. Even the reflection on the blinds are perfect sharp! One remark: although Biance keeps the blinds open with her fingers, she isn't looking through the opening. But that might be minor :)

Like this one, is this one last look as someone leaves, or is she patiently awaiting the arrival of some one special?

I like the tight focus and sharpness captured in the face/eyes.

A spontaenous comments from me : What a great photo! I like the expression of Bianca (the way she looked through the blinds) that certainly has given a lot of meaning to this movie - oops sorry, even I thought I was watching a movie scene ha .. ha .. I guess you and her has come up with a very good understanding that either she or you can play the role the way you both wanted to. One thing I wished (if could) is to move her a little bit to the left to get rid of the right part of the wall (and blinds) so more reflection of her face in the blinds will be captured thus makes it more dramatic movie (did I say a movie again ?)

Very well done my friend, very professional, it's a honest opinion from me and again will emerge another imagination for me.

out of this series, i like this one the most. first of all her eyes, she has beautiful eyes and here it is in action instead of staring at the camera. you have used the light brilliantly to accentuate the skin tone and the details. well done.

The effect in the eyes with the light reflection please me a lot! It give a radiant effect i don't know how to say... But you see it :)
