Hi Russell
Well despite the very central placement of your subject (much more dramatic if it was off-centre - in keeping with rule-of-thirds I guess) I think this shot works well.
The diagonal of the land vs the bright and level element of the house creates an interesting contrast.
Very good metering.

The B&W makes it the house look older - but I always prefer the coloured photos.
Still it's a good capture Russell. As I said in your last photo - I don't like central postings - but I think it suits here. Have you tried cropping it to off-centre it?
