You've cropped it pretty well. I like the contrast between the really white waves and the dark foreboding sky.
The long log in the foreground acts like a bit of a visual barrier to the rest of the pic. Its sort of hard for the eye to go past it.
Is this place near Greymouth? I remeber going down the West Coast of the South Island and recall it looking like this!
Atmospheric...brought me back a memory or two.
