Land of the snowman.
Taken around this time in 2006. Winter has taken it's hold on the South here in NZ.
Driving across the Arthur's Pass the snowman is a familar sight dotted here and there in all different shapes and sizes along the road and in rest areas.
These guys always bring a smile, somebody has got out and had some fun.

Hi Kathleen,
You have handled what I find difficult, and that is perfect exposure for snow. The snowman stands out of the dappled snow background.
I last shot snow on film years ago, grossly underexposed, they all came out brown, although the film labs at the chemist don't help either.
