Stunning piece of scenery, this is a postcard view, and captured with excellent colours, although the kind of shot where a polariser would really have helped.
I know it's just an illusion, but it seems as if the "horizon" is skewed; a small anticlockwise rotation would have made a big difference in my opinion.
Nice work there though

Nice view.
Just great.
I wonder how it looks from the top.

Tom

Now that's one road one would never tire of driving down, well taken Martyn, impressive shot

You must have risked life and limb for this one Martyn. Dangerous places, open roads.
Definitely worth it though, nice landscape.
Cheers,
Pete.

aaaahhhh....

Great shot mate :) The lines are great on this one. Btw, I hope you have someone watch your back while taking this shot :) Take care.

Allan

Wow - cool shot :)
I like the straight bit of road - it draws our eyes to the background and the fantastic mountains - very pretty :)
Well done for catching the snap with no cars - was it quiet or did you have to wait a while and dodge traffic!

Great perpective on this image .See that you are into landscapes also .Great shot !

Dear Martyn,
this is a wonderful shot of the mountain and the road, those are similar figures. nice perspective with good width and depth.
I think I find same feeling and similar composition as you in my past photo! please watch that photo;
