Firstly congrats on your 200th post. this shot is really good, very quirky and nicely captured. I hope its ok with you I have added it to the freaky friday theme today as I think thats a pretty freaky looking letter box.

This has to be one of the most entertaining mail boxes I've seen...and I've seen many on my travels. Loks like it came off the set of a Harry Potter film. Well spotted and framed. TFS.

If I remember rightly,there are also some cars sticking out of the ground nearby.
(Your location title reads ... North Island . Wellington. Blackball ... did you know?)

A past of a post -- and a freaky post at that!
Great idea -- superbly done, wonderful colours and details
Very funny all around and the PP work on adding the 200 to the post is superb -- it looks as if it had been painted there and weathered! Really outstanding!

Congratulations Pete, TL can become addictive. Regardless of the skies a humerous image. Lush green colours of NZ and good detail. I get the feeling the letterbox was modelled on Cooch from Footrot :). TFS,
