[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Japanese Anemone
Scientific Name Anemone X hybrida

I am practicing with filters here. This is a “Watercolour Damp” filter.

The term Japanese anemones, is loosely applied to a collection of anemones, many of which have never had any association at all with Japan. I love these flowers and this one especially because as soon as blossoms fade, they drop to the ground leaving behind a globe-shaped seed head. There are white and pink Japanese anemones, with single and double blossoms. These are the double blossoms. These flowers bloom from late summer to autumn.

Although I´m not sure about your frame.... framing is not under discussion, I think.
I like this filter for flower, I´ve already used it once.
Nice pic.
Cheers!
Carmem

Hi Janice, nice work, the pink and yellow are really vibrant, also your composition here is really good. The filter works well with this kind of shot, well done :)

The used of the filter on the flowers was an excelent choice, it gives the photo a real painterly effect, more of an oil one than an watercolour. It looks fantastic. I just don't like that frame much, but that's just a question of personal taste ;-)
Well done.
Ana

I personally like the watercolor filter for flowers and think this is a lovely work you have accomplished here.....:O)

Interesting use of filters a bit dreamy and drowsy but nice none the less.

This seems to be the new trend on TL ;o). I don't mind, it's actually refreshing to see new things being tried out. Nice compo and very nice frame too, Janice. TFS.

This is one of the better examples I have seen of pp work using this type of filter effect Janice! Nice job on the framework also. Good job!

God's best,

Tim
