Natural expression . .
Sharp in her eyes . .
I like the idea of doing this . . ha ha . .
Have a nice day my friend . .

Hello, Rew.
I like this one.
I'm not sure exactly what she's thinking. I think it might just be, "How much longer are you going to play with that flippin' camera? Can't you come and talk to me for a change?" That's what I seem to get!
Nice candid shot - I agree these are not easy to share and it's certainly one to keep.
Kind Regards,
John.

This is beautiful Rew..
It's touching what u had wrote..
"For me the most rewarding moments have not always been the great moments" - this is one of best truths of my live , and it's 100% true!
I wouldn't say "not always" I would say
the most rewarding moments are the hardest one!
Would u agree?
TFS

hi Rew,
nice snap shot :)
thx for your email to ask me why I delete my last photo. Yes I was delete it because i feel not confident with the result. I think Digital Imaging not good enough for my standard photo and digital art. if you see the shadow down bad and skin retouching its too much, the model look like mannequin :).
maybe when i did PP work, I'm not in good mood and feel not relax ( to many job lately make me stress lol)
but i try to fix it and will post it ASAP.
about reflector... yes i use gold reflector and just for info... i use 1 flash box and 2 halogen lamp.
thx for your email.
best regards
Haldian

Hi Rew,
Beautifull shot, and your notes has the perfect sense, relating the shots moods.
Take care, all the best.

Hi Rew,
A photo always mean a lot of things to individual, that's why we took them, at least that's what I think that's the reason why I take a photo. :D
Charlie look a bit tired, it is surely something she didn't expected but I am sure she already get used to you hanging around her with the camera. :P
Good lighting and sharpness, excellent details too, and this time I have to said, yay... you have the contrast that I like!!!
Cheers,
Sweety

You know, I like these natural portraits much more than the studio ones !
thanks,

A picture can be not perfect technically but has lots and lots of meaning than others because to create that picture we have to share a part of ourself. Or to look at that picture, we're remind of a part of ourself. So glad you share your precious moment with us

Hi Rew,
Good candid shot, I have seen that same "put the bloody camera away" expression on my wifes face many times!
Cheers
Tom
Hi Rew
Great candid shot.
The look is very sharp and a strong stare, a lot of things to be said from those eyes, but remain unsaid. Will she allow you to do a studio shoot for her? (dont answer if you dont like to).
To me, at least from my viewpoint, this look says a lot of things. There are a few photographers of husband+wife team, sharing same hobby.
I am of the other category where the wife does not share photography as hobby.
Very courageous to post candid shot of your lovely wife.
TFS, bill

Hi Rew
Sounds like she was not happy you shot that portrait. I find it very natural but I can't read what her eyes mean. That new lens work perfectly. Details are sharp and the blurred background is perfect.
Nicely done
Serge
A nice simple moment captured she looks how I feel after a long day just want five minutes to think and relax. Love the eye contact. This is a beautiful unposed picture. I like it. TFs

Hi Rew,
Lovely candid shot. I like the expression. And... my wife and I was quite surprised to see this photo... your wife looked like her nephew. I will try to look for her picture and send to you.

Ramdan.

Rew, this is a good shot! I think it is one of your best. No posing, a natural look and body language, and mostly soft colours. Well done! I hope Charie likes it, too?! - Cordelia :))

Hi Rew.
Portraits, more than any other, I feel need to be reviewed purely as a photograph as they usually mean much more to the photographer than they ever could to a random viewer.
The things I like are the excellent skin tones, sharpness and the catch-lights in her eyes. A very dreamy pose - almost as if she's just woken up.
The thing I'm less keen on is the bright curtain (though I accept that these are the reason you were able to take the shot as you did).
I would also crop it square and lose the setee up to (and including) the button. Having blanked it out by hand, I think it allows you to concentrate more on the portrait itself without the distraction of such a large, bright background.
A really good shot.
Regards, Paul.
Great portrait with a great impression on the face transfering the depth of thoughts and feelings.
Thnaks again Rew for a great job;)
Hi Rew..:)
Good candid and nice expression shot my friend, this is very high class touch from a good portrait photographer like you my friend..really!!..i like to see more on your portraits, because you are one of my influences portrait photographer...
Now i am prepared for the next theme organize by helen "Black and White Outside" shot..this is really much fun..i hope you'll joint the theme too if you don't mind..:)
For this one very fine image and excellent detail..Good job my friend..
Salute,
Anan
tomorrow :)
Well, Rew, perhaps this particular situation doesn't mean much to us, but the way you "portrayed" it DOES.
This kind of "apathy" in your wife's eyes evokes what may happen during long family gatherings: sometimes, you just need some moments of inner rest and your thoughts are wandering away from the ongoing conversations...
A universal feeling. You "transcended" the anecdote.
TFS & kind regards,
Erik

It's very intimidating, you get so much positive criticism.
As this is yet another one. :)
I like this image, the sidelong glance, a little disapproving of this charming young woman. Maybe because this image is opposed to the pictures with the model who poses for you.
However, we must note that the lighting is good, as well as the attitude of the character, and it still is involved in making a good photograph.
unmistakably a good picture. :-)
A very beautiful 'unposed' portrait of your lovely wife. I like her expression, and I really like your note. TFS this special moment.
