[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Our son Steven aka Superaudio sent us a huge bouqet of these red lilies along with bright yellow day lilies.
The red ones almost look artificial, as though they are made from plastic.
The are very pretty, but I have no idea what they are called.

Hello Pete - they are Anthurium andraeanums, also known as Flamingo lilies.
They do look like plastic, don't they? And they come in a variety of shades of red, rose, pink, and white colours too.
Nicely captured, but I'm sorry you have cropped off the top of the flower spadix.
