I like the black and white work, the the subject is interesting, but I feel the composition is not strong enough... my eye moves to the boats on the left because the tree branch leads it there, and the top bit with the foliage adds little to the image.

The compostion works for me Renier. Good control of the light and nice tones and textures. If I did have a beef then it would be a slight tilt. Another fine conversion,
