nice portrait sweety, i like the colors and combination colors here, red and yellow. but for DOF i feel too close.

What's wrong with the weather Sweety? We had no wet weather while on holiday in the South Island and Auckland had those bad storms. And last week we missed Auckland's rain as we were down Ruapehu. Sorry to rub it in!!

Pretty autumn colours Sweety, though I would like to see it a little sharper. But I like how the red shows up against the yellow BG. It is a nicely shaped leaf,

OK...i maybe just want to wish a more dof. or maybe to get all of this leaf in focus :) I like the idea though

When I look at your camera settings Sweety, there obviously wasn't much light. Normally speaking you could have more sharpness in this image if you can use a higher aperture, or F-stop. But at 1/100 shutterspeed, there is no room for that. Or els you'd have to use the flash which in this case would take away a lot of the colors.

I really like the atmosphere of this shot dear... goes with autumn!... and so does the rain.

I hope you will feel better soon.
We fortunately have some sunny days here now and temperatures are up finally.

It appears weird to me autumn colours in May :-) We have her full summer tempratures, nature is full of lush green......OK ok I won't rub it in. Regarding the posting, I have the same remarks as Janice and Anneke, so I won't repeat it. Nevertheless I like the presentation of the wonderful colours here. Cheers my dear and I'm looking forward to the summer colours of New Zealand :-)

Is it that bad down there in Auckland these days ,not the best autumn with all that rain but still you have to go out there and get some 'lousy weather 'shots ,,,lol, you would be very surprised what you can come up with ! Like the suspended mid-air soft impression here almost like a painting yep ,cool stuff
