Murphy's Law once again.
I had my macro lens on, taking some autumn leaves shots when I spotted these seagulls over the lake.
All seven were drinking in unison, reminded me of a chorus line.
By the time I changed lenses, most of the gulls had had enough.
I thought I would grab a shot anyway, when this Pukeko joined them.
He only had two dips in the water before walking away.
This is the second one.
I know, I must sound like the fisherman..."you should have seen the one that got away";) |

Hello Peter! Wonderful scene. Amazing POV. Fantastic composition. Original effect. Well done!
Tell me about it ... I narrowly missed photographing a waterspot yesterday.
It disappeared just as I lifted my camera.
This still looks great though.
A neat collection of birds being birds.
Nice one.
Cheers

A strange bird..I've never seen one of these! Good timing! Very nice detail. TFS
Hi Peter,
Interesting to note that in spite their color differences they seem to be happy living together ... I wish the world is like that. Nice capture and well presented. Image and color quality is also good. Well done! tfs

Hi Peter
Great capture!
Murphy's Law - the other day I saw a White Heron sitting on a rock in the sea (first time ever) and as I was changing the lens a shag flew in and dive bombed him!
Cheers
