Ok folks...

Today theme is about Fruits, so how about mixed berry? here we have Raspberries, Blueberries, Blackberries and boysenberries... so I am sure it fix the theme. :P

Anyway, because I was in a lot of pain with my right shoulder (yes...Janice, I should have listen to you), so with this batch of photos I need my trusty tripod to help me out...

So here I introduce to you my Mixed Berry Muffins...:D

--------------------------------------------
Mixed Berry Muffins

(Recipe by Gingerbear)

30 min, 10 min prep, SERVES 12

Ingredient

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/3 cups fresh berries (such as blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, huckleberries or sliced strawberries, or a combination)

Preparation

1. Position a rack in the centre of the oven and preheat to 400°F.

2. Lightly butter twelve 2 1/2-inch muffin cups or place paper muffin cups in the muffin tin.

3. In a medium bowl, whisk the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt to combine and make a well in the centre.

4. In another medium bowl, whisk the milk, oil and eggs.

5. Mix well and pour into the well.

6. Stir just until blended.

7. Fold in the berries.

8. Spoon equal amounts of the batter into the muffin cups, filling them about three-fourths full.

9. Bake until a toothpick inserted into the centre of a muffin comes out clean, 15 to 20 minutes.

10. Cool in the pan for 5 minutes.

11. Remove the muffins and serve warm or cool on a wire rack.

--------------------------------------------

Here is what I did to take the shots:

- White paper towel as background
- White tea towel for the bottom of the plate
- White plate for the muffin and the berries
- Setup Tripod,
- Get a piece of "Cake foil holder" (those hard cupboard under the cake) as a reflector

- Adjust brightness and contrast
- Increase Saturation
- Added border and resize

--------------------------------------------
So here you go... hope you like it, we love it, I baked it today and now only a couple left... :P

Thank you all for your visit, have a wonderful day ahead.

As always, your photos of food are so tempting and delicious looking! I can taste those berries from here! I admire your ingenuity in setting up the shots in your "kitchen studio" using your tools from home.
