I had so much fun today, with camera in hand. I had a kingfisher fly onto a wire above my head (see trek nature)and when I headed down to the beach it was covered with this foam and I saw a photo op in an instant. I love this photo. I actually lay on the ground to take it and ended up getting foamed as a rouge wave pushed the foam up the beach and onto me lol. I did have a bit of a chuckle.
I hope you like it as much as I do.

Great POV! And you got foamed to get it, the things photographers do to get a good shot! LOL! I didn't realise the sea was so foamy today, wonder if it will still be like that tomorrow. Using the foam as a foreground and lead in has worked well and gives your image more interest and depth. Try cutting down the amount of sky and see how much more it emphasizes the foam and sea. Well seen and well captured. I'm off to look at your KF photo now.
Cheers

Good shot of the beach and foam Nicki. I see you have a mixture of pebbles and coarse sand down there.
We get the foam too during windy storms. Plus the seaweed.
I agree with Elizabeth's comment about cropping out some of the sky.

Beautiful picture, amazing when the ocean is doing that!! I would have just like to see more brightness! but its a great picture nonetheless.
