| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Yesterday evening we took a trip out to the tip of the wharf at the mouth of the Grey River to see what the high winds had done to the sea.
On the end of the wharf were young people waiting ... but not for a boat.
... The huge pools of water along the left side of the wharf give a clue ... In my next few posts you will see some huge waves crashing into the wharf and sending up massive plumes of spray above the onlookers
... nicely silhouetted in the setting sun.
Hope you enjoy this and the following shots.
Cheers

Superb backlit! I adore the composition with these silhouettes and the warm coloured harmony, here! Bravo! Annie

Good composition and nice subtle light. The reflections in the pools of water add interest as do the silhouettes of the people (People with a death wish standing on the end of the tiphead waiting to be washed into the sea! Do they not realize how treacherous it is there?!).
