Hi folks...

Its' nearly dinner time here, I am off to cooking after I upload this, now... I know a lot of you have eaten Asian Combination fried noodle before, remember there are lots of different version due to different villages they came from.

Here I have one that I have addin a bit of this and that to change the original recipe a bit, this is suppose to be just meat, but I add in some seafood! Hey, I can't resist, I am a seafood lover! :P

Anyway... Here it is and I will come back after dinner tonite to upload the recipe! Can you wait that long? hehehehe... enjoy!

Combination fried noodle

Ingredients

- 450 g Yellow egg noodles
- 110 g Cabbage
- 50 g Round beans
- 75 g Shrimps, peeled and deveined
- 50 g Pork fillet, sliced
- 50 g Stir fry Beef strips
- 50 g Squid, prepared and sliced
- 2 cloves Garlic, chopped
- 2 stalks Spring onion, cut into short lengths
- 2 pieces Red chilies, seeded and finely sliced (I didn't put it here as the chilli I bought is too spicy, my boy can't take it)
- 3 tbsp Cooking oil
- 3 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Sesame oil
- Salt and ground black pepper

Preparation

- Cook yellow egg noodles in a large pan of boiling water until just tender and drain well. (Unless you bought those freshly made then you can skip this)

- Heat oil in a wok and fry garlic and spring onions for about 30 seconds.

- Add pork fillet, shrimps, beef strips and squids and stir-fry over high heat for approx. 2 mins.

- Add cabbage, round beans and chilies then continue to stir-fry for another 3 minutes or until pork is well cooked.

- Add the noodles, stirring constantly but gently, (I find it easy to use chopstick to do this part, as it won't break up the noodle) add the soy sauce, salt and pepper to taste, if not enough salty, addin another tabel spoon of soy sauce.

- Cook until noodles are thoroughly heated through, then stir in the sesame oil, mix well and serve immediately.

- Alternative you can always leave the fresh chilli and serve on side. Also you can use chicken, mushroom, mussels instead of what I prepare here.

Enjoy and have fun. :D

--------------------------------
- Adjust brightness and contrast
- Increase saturation
- Apply USM
- Add border

Extra pp work:

- Here also I have done some copying and paste.. which mean I have created 3 layers, first layer is the original shot, drop shadow and rotate to the right.

- Second layer is the duplicate of the original shot but rotate to the right, drop shadow and sit behind the first layer

- Third layer is just a plan layer with "Gradient" fill, and choose grey and white.

- Leave that to the very last layer but align the bottom right coner to the first layer

- All done, "Flatten" image or "merge" image then add border and resize

--------------------------------
Thank you all for viewing, will be back with recipe shortly.

Have a great day ahead! :D

Hi Sweety,

Really ---- I should not look at your pictures just after finishing breakfast, because they make me hungry! That is a compliment for your picture, but a terrible thing for me ^-^.

Excellent work, you must be a great cook as well as a great photographer - I think you could write and illustrate your own cookbook.

That looks like it tastes good Sweety. It looks very fresh and hot, and I think you've done a good job here. I just wish we lived closer to you, as I think I'd be a good taster for your recipes!!
The framing looks really good too,

When is this rain gonna stop?
Janice

Hi Sweety

Lovely looking dish.
The focus/sharpness is spot on!

Only critique is the background, I would like to have seen it all one tone of grey or white. The large white blob for me is distracting, and takes your eye away from the food.

Regards
Tracey

You have made my mouth water! Looks so delish!!!! Beautifully presented live the framing. I am so going to make it to your place for dinner one day. TFS
Christan

Hey Sweety, you must stop posting all these yummy photos, complete with recipes.
I'm getting fatter just looking at them;)
This one is as good a food shot I have seen, the noodles look soft and succulent, and that strip of beef....
Well done.
Pete.

I love Asian food!!! Thanks a bunch for the recipe, I will cook this for sure, in fact I'm going to print it out right now, so I can buy all the ingredients and make it!
Wonderful shot and pp work, too!

Well, it's early morning here in New York, but already I'm craving an Asian dinner; your shot is so well presented it's almost sinful. ;0)
As always, the light, clarity, composition and presentation are wonderful and present the dish in all it's glory.
The recipe's not a bad addition either. ;0)
Thanks for sharing.
