Rock formations are one of my favorite subjects. The textures, colors and subtle shadows seem to fascinate me, as they do in this photo. I particularly like the odd placement of the larger rocks on an apparently different rock formation, as well as their situation on a coast. The colors of the rocks, the base upon which they sit and the blues from the sea and sky are also interesting. I might have placed the protrusions from the rock on the left either under or exactly at the horizon, but that's my fascination with geometrical lines (planes) in nature.

Great colours and sharpness. I guess everyone's got their personal preferences, I would have liked the protusion of the rock on the left to be above the horizon. I m just imagining it in my mind and I like it :-)
