This is for Logan, my son who turned 10 today...double figures now! Happy birthday!!
His sister Danni Waterlilygirl made the chocolate cake, a recipe I have been using since I was a teenager and taught her to make, its easy and tastes so so good.
Raspberries are out of season here, frozen are used in photo, hence the reason they have liquid underneath.
RECIPE
100g butter
2T golden syrup
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2t vanilla ess
2 cups flour
2t baking powder
2 raised T cocoa
2t baking soda
1 1/2 cups milk
Melt butter & golden syrup in a large pot, take off heat & stir in flour, b.powder & cocoa. Mix b.soda & milk together in separate bowl. Add to ingredience, mixing slowly.
Put into preheated oven 180 Cel
Bake for 1 hour, checking to see if spongy, not dry.
Hope you enjoy
regards

Hi Tracey,
Happy Birthday to Logan!! I must say that Danni did a great job on the cake. It looks so moist and delicious. I like the details of the cake that one can see on the left side. Nice light on the top too. The raspberries seem a bit too red, but appetizing nonetheless. Your frame technique is very creative. I really like it.
~ Lisa P.S. I'll put your recipe with my other recipes from tl members. :D

I've copied and pasted the recipe Tracey - thank you. Now I'll think about making it.
It looks good here, and I do like how you have framed it - quite original.
I hope Logan had a happy birthday,
TFS
