I think you did well with the attempt at one colour Sweety, there is more than enough greyscale. Excellent focus and the grains of rice nice and clear. TFS,

Hi Sweety, well done on the theme photo..your photo is very appealing.

Hang in there Sweety... come back soon when all is well again.

Missing you.

Cheers
Dawn.

HI Sweety,

This looks absolutely delicious! I must try it one day. Your recipes are so good. The curry puff is still one of my favorites!! YUMMY.

Great job with the color details of your shot. It's great for the theme. I like the bit of green in the dish....

Best of luck in your ventures. I certainly understand how life can throw curves our way sometimes. (I'm facing the same thing) :(

thanks for the recipe too. Lisa

What a wonderful surprise!
Sweety, this is the most delicious invitation to dinner I've ever received! :) THANK YOU for the wonderful gift and I'm sorry for being a little late...I was caught in traffic ;) but I'm here now, and starving!!! :)))
I'm so glad you're back, even if you're not sure for how long...I hope things will turn for the better for you, and I'm sending you as many happy thoughts as possible to make this happen!
Great composition, I also love the pp work (b&w with a touch of color), and I don't know how you guessed, but I love chicken on rice! :)))
A huge hug,
Diana

Hi Sweety,

It looks pretty yummy to me. I'm glad I just had my dinner otherwise I'd be feeling hungry!

You have got very good at these food shots. I have a couple of suggestions for you.

i) I think something in the background would be good - maybe a spoon on the side of the plate and the base of a wine glass on the table

ii) a little puddle of the sauce on the plate in the foreground

iii) it would be nice to see some steam coming from the food too

I know these seem very picky but there's not much wrong with you image so I had to find something to say.

The exposure is very good and nice composition. I think the relatively shallow DOF works well here too.

Well done!
