Sulphur lake and Bird Wildlife Refuge.
Forged by volcanic forces and steeped in Maori history, Lake Rotorua lies nestled in the basin of a long extinct volcano. Few visitors fail to remark on the sulphurous odour that is a continuous reminder of Rotorua’s volcanic past but it’s the bubbling mud pools and drifting steam that help to lend Rotorua its unique atmosphere. A well-maintained walkway curves around the foreshore of the lake just minutes from the city centre.

The tree in the fg is so pretty, and adds depth to the picture. Very nice scenery and detail. TFS

Beautiful shot, I remember your last shot from this bay and it looks equally as nice. Very nice colours, wonderfully composed too. Love the tone of the salty coloured water contrasting off of the bright blue sky. Well taken.

A fine pov, with the triangle of land and the pretty tree anchoring the f/g before venturing towards the strangely coloured water.

Good composition and use of light to create a pleasant view of this lovely spot. Thanks for not including the sulphur odor:) I like the sunny cheerful look of this image, and you have presented it nicely. Good work:)
